- A valid driver's license — trucks with a GVWR of 26,000 lbs or less generally do not need a CDL
- Comfort with liftgates, pallet jacks and securing loads
- Clean driving record; some companies require a DOT medical card
- Physical ability to load and unload when the job calls for it
Before you apply: Confirm the truck size and GVWR, whether a helper is provided, and whether unloading or installation is part of the job.
