Build My Driver Profile →What you usually need
- A valid driver's license (no CDL needed for a standard cargo van)
- A reliable cargo van — your own, or one provided by the company
- Commercial auto insurance when you drive your own van for business
- A smartphone for route, scan and proof-of-delivery apps
Before you apply: Ask whether fuel, tolls and van wear are covered, how routes are assigned, and whether pay is per route, per stop or per hour.
General guidance only — each company sets its own requirements, and licensing rules can vary by state and vehicle.
